As a baby boomer and father I regret having millennial children when I should have used most of the money to smoke cigarettes instead

i mean...if she worked on her pacing, it would improve this by quite a large margin, i know ive heard at least one of those jokes before, the one about the catching a train to meet your mugger, but with better pacing, and it killed.

I've definitely heard that Uncle Murda joke before. But she was cool. I like her conversational delivery, but she needs to work on her pacing more.

Um. The complaints I'VE heard from Boomers are "I was married with 3 kids at your age. Why haven't you gotten a job and moved out?" and "Why are you anxious and depressed? I used to poop in a bucket." You've only heard them complain about our avocado toast and reality TV stars? That doesn't even scrape the surface of their misunderstandings of who we are as a generation.

I argue its not something new. Young and old people quarrel since tousand of years which my guess is that Young people are still in the stage of life where their parents are obliged to care for their opinions and teachers and professors are paid to care for their opinion. From small on you show a picutre to your parents and say wow thats beautiful we may have a little arrtist here. Tricking you into thinking that the whole world cares for their input. Which over time you find out most of the world when not paid or related do not care at all. Which makes snes cause you are about to do what generations before you did and get life and profesional experience. Then aftrer the life experience a student of robo emotion study gives you tips how you should life your life better. Have fun with that discussion in 10-15 years. ;) i am millineial myself but i think thats more an country thing than an age only thing? Cause this discussions over here mostly happen cause we see it on youtube and are confused cause we cant relate to your struggles?

@Monomaize i am 33? So for youtube probably ancient. ;) Lets be honest that millenial „movement“ has a lot less support outside as you may think. :) but i guess outside opinions are not that well known? If you want a hint go to 9gag and search for the pic where 56% of americans voted against teaching arabic numerals in school. ;) that is the general worldview outside. I hope i did not shock you.

based on the longass opinionpiece you posted in the AMget comments section, its the older generation such as yourself who thinks the world cares about your twocents & "wisdom." gain some hubris and self awareness. this is so embarassing to say the least.

Uhh, she's terrible. She needs to definitely work on her craft. She talks HELLA slow, the joke timing is horrible as well as her rhythm. If u couldn't tell by some of the hooting by some in the audience, they were TRYING to help cuz usually when a comedian is actually funny, they're too busy laughing to do that stuff...because they don't need to.
